How you can help dogs in need!
We see overcrowding in shelters, (like the picture above), every day. Community involvement is the best way to help out dogs in need! Donate your time, new or used pet supplies, or even sponsor a pet. Anything is greatly appreciated and put to good use.
Some things we can always use more of:
Pet food (any kind is great)
Blankets, old sweaters, towels (makes great bedding)
Collars and leashes (all sizes and types)
Kennels/crates (all sizes and types- we transport pets every day and need a safe place for them to ride)
Love- and this is the biggest one! The animals need all the love and attention they can get! Any time spent with a pet is well worth it and the animals will love you for it!
Fosters! In rescue, you can never have too many fosters. Fosters are people or families that have a lot of love for animals and wouldn't mind having an extra furry friend in the house for awhile. Our opinion is that every pet is a keeper, some just need a little more help than others. Being a foster is super easy, and super helpful. We get an animal out of a local shelter and place it in foster care, this gives us time to get it advertised, get it any medical treatment it may need, and find it a forever home. You even choose what animal you can take.
